Gluten-Free Apple Crumble
An easy fall dessert that uses apples, oats, sugar, cinnamon, and gluten-free flour

- 8-12 Granny Smith Apples peeled and diced about 12 cups
- 2 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 ½ C packed brown sugar
- 1 C gluten-free flour
- 1 C old-fashioned oats
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 1 ½ sticks butter
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
Peel and dice your apples, stir together with ½ teaspoon for cinnamon, lemon juice and water. Add to the bottom of your baking dish.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients, except the butter
Once combined, add and cut in the butter until all mixed. The dry ingredients and butter will be crumbly when it’s ready.
Pour dry ingredients evenly over apples.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
