A Cocktail for National Moscato Day

May 9 is National Moscato Day, and I have the perfect refreshing moscato cocktail to help you celebrate the day!

I really like wine for a number of reasons. There are so many different types and flavors and variations, that it’s easy to find a favorite at multiple price points.

Unless I’m celebrating an accomplishment or something else monumental, I won’t spend more than $15 a bottle on wine. Ballin on a budget over here, folks.

If I want to stretch my wine budget further, or I want to avoid a hangover, or I want something I can drink all day (because day drinking is a marathon not a sprint), or I wanna celebrate National Moscato Day, I drink this fruity wine cocktail.

The thing about moscato is it’s typically really sweet, and if you don’t like your wine overly sweet, this cocktail tones down the sweetness.

    Here’s what I do:

I take a wine glass (honestly, any glass will do), I used these stemless glasses, and fill it with four ounces of moscato. I had Cupcake Moscato in my wine rack, so that was the wine I used. Then I add four ounces of  any flavored carbonated water I have on hand. Today I had Canada Dry Triple Berry. Great. I take any frozen or fresh berries I have in my fridge or freezer and pop those in as well.

    Stir. Enjoy.
